I forgot just how scenic Pennsylvania can be in the winter.

This is picture isn't exactly a perfect example of it, as I tend to get caught up in enjoying things instead of snapping pictures. It is wonderful to cruise the back roads this time of year though because the snow fills all the holes and you can actually have a peaceful drive. I hadn't gotten the chance to got out for a nice drive like this in quite a while. I'm glad that I finally got the chance. I just wish I had time to do this more often...

It is a beautiful state once you get out of the built-up areas.

So I've been told, growing up my entire life in it seems to have taken some of the beauty out of it, you almost get used to it in a sense. Out driving though sometimes I can find some old road I've never traveled on before and see things through a new set of eyes, it's refreshing.

That's true! Very pretty in the less-developed areas. I used to live in SE PA (Macungie) and I would go for drives in the winter (I'd let the roads be a bit more plowed than this, but still...)

Where I live, this road is about as plowed as they come unfortunately. Too many roads and not enough people I guess.
